The piece was inspired by and composed using recordings of radio transmission that were received from outer space by NASA. Radio static, attempted communication, discovery and ray guns were all added to complete the story. Originally created as a soundscape project a few years ago, this has been reworked and dubbed out into its current state.
Imeileus (Charlie Mount) has experimented with electronic music and production for a while now, and is part of the Mezzanine Allstars. He applies FX and samples on stage to create a ‘live dub’ of the band as they perform.
